In 1978, Attorney Hawkins earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 1982, he received his juris doctorate from Campbell University School of Law, where he was an esteemed member of The Law Review. After practicing law for two years, in New Bern, NC, Attorney Hawkins returned to Alamance County and joined the law firm of Latham and Wood in 1985. Eventually, he decided to start Daniel L. Hawkins, P.A. in 2004.
